Nik Collection is now completely free for everyone
Discussion
I've not heard of the Nik collection before so would be interested to know what thoughts users have about using it, what is it similar to using? Is it more like Photoshop, Fireworks or Lightroom?
Link to download is https://www.google.com/nikcollection/ and I take no credit for the link, I copied it from a post made on another thread by RobDickinson.

Its not a replacement for LR/PS they are aps that work alongside them and allow specific edit looks that would be a pain in LR/PS. I have used the black and white one for years and its superb. The others I don't care for and anyway I often shoot film for a film look.
Hi Ian and thank you for the update, it looks like the Nik collection is something that may well be worth downloading for possible use in the future. I've been tending to use Google Picasa for minor image adjustments but the rumour is that Google may be discontinuing it which will be a great shame because it works extremely well for basic editing of photos and I hate all this cloud based software stuff.Message Board | Photography & Video | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
