Snorkelling/ Diving Maldives

I'm heading to the Maldives in 2 weeks. I've got a Leica D Lux 109 and its equivalent is the Panasonic LX100. I am interested in using this for underwater shots? Can you recommend a case for it or am I best off using a Go Pro/ cheapy underwater camera?

Personally I would take a go-pro and not risk the Leica. Plus filters are probably cheaper for the go pro and you'll need these..
