as the title says really, I have around 17,000 slides all from the same person and they were taken all over the world in the 60/70/80's any idea on the best place to sell Kodachrome 35mm slides?

I guess it depends on where you are in the country. There's a chap near me that runs a secondhand bookshop and advertises that he buys slides, but I suspect that might be more house-clearance kind of stuff. That's in South Cheshire, if you want a contact number let me know.

Obviously scan and post any street scenes in the thread in Classics and Yesterdays Heroes, there's a lot of love for shots that contain old vehicles.

What is on them? That is obsolete key. If it is trains, then you will be coining it.

If they are average holiday snaps, then you might get £100 for the lot.

Try Special Auction Services in Newbury. They have a regular auction when items like this are sold.

On balance, it would probably be better to offer them to the National Media Museum's archive.
