For years I have happily used Photobucket, but now I cannot upload any photos at all. no matter which computer I use or what I try. I log in, I press upload, and round we go with me having to log in all over again. I've written to them with no reply. Maybe others have had the same problem?

Anyway, I can access what is in there but am looking for another site which I can use to post my photos on the interweb. There seem lots out there so I thought I'd ask the great collective what they think. Editing I do myself, it is purely for storage and sharing. Over to you.

www.flickr.com is very popular indeed for storing and displaying your photo collection, if you click on the Explore button https://www.flickr.com/explore you can view some of the more recently uploaded photos or perhaps search for user or type of camera used. Is very impressive.

Honestly flickr is free, unlimited ( or near so) and easy to share. Ok it has adds but you can easily ignore them.

They are extremely annoying though, being shown amongst photos.
I much prefer Facebook/Google Photos/Amazon Photos

a) it depends whether you prefer to show your photos to other photographers only or to everyone wink
b) export it right and you really won't be able to tell the difference unless you enjoy pixel peeping

No way would I call facebook a 'photo storage' site and you cant use it like photobucket or flickr (like display them on here...). For what I think the OP wants facebook just wont work.

And facebook murders photos, irrespective of what you do with them, some dont look as bad as others but in general it guts them. Shadows, subtle colour shifts etc. I've tried all the formats, resolutions etc. Some work, sometimes, better than other times.
