Canon lens repair recommendations
Discussion
I noticed over the weekend that my lovely Canon 70-200 f4.0L IS was auto focusing more slowly than I'm used to. Further investigation that evening revealed that the manual focus ring was also "slipping" when turned quickly, and some googling suggests that this isn't an unheard-of problem with that lens...
Question is where to send it for repair. I've no experience of Canon repair as none of my other kit (all much cheaper!) has ever failed. Does anybody have any experiences or recommendations? Obviously I don't want to pay more than I have to, but I'm more concerned about getting a good job done, keeping its amazing sharpness and fixing it properly so that it hopefully won't fail again...
Thanks in advance!

I'm near Oxford. So London would be a close call between dropping it off or shipping it to them... Shipping a lot more convenient, but dropping it off is safer I guess!Fixation in London are one of the pro go-to places for lens repair: http://www.fixationuk.com
Thanks for the recommendation.

Use these guys, I sent my 100-400 to them just before we went away on our Honeymoon Safari, I sent it them on the Monday, they got it Tuesday, I got it back Friday, fully serviced and fixed and posted back for around £100 IIRC.
Service was fantastic cannot fault them.
