Pocketable lightweight lighting options?
Discussion
Whenever I go abroad many times at night there isn't enough lighting to take decent photos (mostly with a phone). So I end up using 1-2 other peoples phone torches as additional lighting/key lighting.
Does anyone have any ideas for small/lightweight lighting options that I could take with me to add additional light without having to use the phones flash, or even maybe the flash on my fuji x20.
a light source that's phone-sized, smaller the better, bright but not a focused/tight light. rechargeable, LED, but not something that's basically the same as the tiny LED 'torch' light you get on a smartphone.
Pretty much something I can pull out my pocket, switch on and move around to adjust the light source.

I've got one similar to that, they're known as LED video lights. This is the one I have

It allows you to adjust the light temperature, colour, brightness, etc. There seem to be quite a few companies making similar ones on Amazon.
(edited to fix the link in speedking31's post)
A possibly alternative option for you, Petzl headlamps come with a bag that's designed to be a diffuser so you can use the lamp as a lantern. A cheap option if you already have a small torch you could put in it. They used to do headlamps with a flip up diffuser but I'm not sure if they're still available.

In order to provide any meaningful advice, it would be useful to know what you were actually taking photos of? and in what type of situations?Does anyone have any ideas for small/lightweight lighting options that I could take with me to add additional light without having to use the phones flash, or even maybe the flash on my fuji x20.

Also 3D printed one of these for it to go on with a "rig" setup for filming or taking pics on my phone as a bonus https://makerworld.com/en/models/23140-cage-for-ph...
