Anyone know this S3?

I'm looking at H708 HPH (1990 S3, Grey - on classifieds) this weekend. Anyone with any knowledge of this car? Has anyone been to see it? It has been on the Sales site for 2 weeks so far.

Saw it this time last year at the same £, poor guy is stuck in the middle of nowhere so is obviously having trouble selling. Seemed an honest car with usual problems, it was the first one I saw and depends what you want - I decided I had to have a metallic blue S2 as I love the whole curvy dash thing. The car I ended up with has been loads of trouble but I love her all the same! I'm not going to try and influence your decision as I don't want to loose the guy a sale but also don't want a fellow S'er to be disappointed, go see and enjoy the test drive - he didn't hold back!

Ta - will look with open mind and bright torch! Don't mind one needing minor chassis work (clean, odd patch etc) but want to avoid one which will need entire tubes replacing. Apparently, someone saw this one last weekend but didn't follow it up, hmmm......
