Just picked up the S2 from the paintshop - I can finally drive her round without thinking about all the battle scars that the bodywork was carrying!

I ended up having all panels bar the bonnet done in the original brooklands racing green and the results look great!

thought I was going to have to get a bit punchy as they quoted for three panels and ended up doing the whole without asking me, but in the end I got the job for the same price.

They did advise me to have the passenger door adjusted as soon as possible (it's dropped a bit and was scratching the base of the frame)

anyone with any experience of this got any tips?

will post some pics as soon as poss

That's a bit of a result, well done!
I'm looking forward to the photos.

You mentioned your door having dropped, my driver door is the same. I'd be interested to hear how these are adjusted if anyone has previously done this job?

S & J motors, Hammersmith

800 notes.

Recommended by a mobile valet service who pulled up to admire the car and had a go at polishing out the scratches, he used to work there and recommended them.

when I turned up there for a quote there was a beautiful Morgan that they'd just finished so I figured they must be OK!

That was for 3 panels, how much did they want to charge for the whole job ?

Didn't ask - just made it clear that they were getting the original quote price for the job.

Colour match is perfect - now the bonnet just looks a little tired compared to the rest of the car....
