It looks like my beloved S2 is set to be sacrificed at the alter of my daughters college education.
It will be a sad day - sun out,garage empty.
But...it comes with the job!
Anyone interested-mail me,otherwise it's set for the pistonheads classified soon.

How about this:

When your daughter finishes college/Uni, then gets her job, she can pay her loving dad back by... buying him a TVR S again!

I finished Uni under 2 years ago and got my S last year.

Sorry to hear about it mate. Uni and further education are becoming increasingly expensive these days.

Doesn`t she know how much effort,love,heart ache it takes to get her to were she is now.


Doesn`t she appreciate that you will worry about every minute that she is out of sight!!!!

She must realize that you will have sleepless nights panicking that some young Pratt will get hold of her.


Bit of a bummer the daughters going too.

Tim, why should you have to lose out, it is time for the young lady to stand on her own two feet, all part and parcel of going to uni. My eldest Son and my Daughter both paid their own way through uni with student loans. We helped both of them of course but they took the main burden including, for my daughter, taking out a post-grad loan to do her LPC at Law School (her debts after having qualified were +£20k). As a qualified employment lawyer she is now paying off her loans, living in London and buying a house.
Both of them would have been outraged if I had suggested such a sacrifice to pay for their education.

Only you know what is right for your family but I would recommend that you think again. All the best
