Just thought that I would tell you all that I managed to get 2 SO3 in 205/55/15Z for the V8S for £70 + VAT fitted each. I was not to keen on reducing the aspect ratio, but needs be. I thought this was very price for Z rated tyres.

They were from BT-tyres in Bletchley,

Reported last year that I got 4 Good Year Eagles to replace SO2's at Micheldever Tyres in Hampshire for £75 a corner all in and included was tracking/geometry check.
Very good service too! Very knowledgeable staff, can't praise them highly enough.
So far I rate the G/years as good as the SO2's IMHO. I think the grip is better after 5000 miles or so as well!

Just had the same tyres from Johnson Tyres, Wrexham for £238 all in They do mail order if anybody is interested, but allow a couple of weeks for arrival because they buy in bulk.

Recently had 4 RE720's put onto mine for about 250 quid at Micheldever. Previously I was running SO2's. The difference in ride quality is noticeable, and seeing as I don't drive at anywhere like 10/10ths on public roads I don't miss the slight extra grip that the old SO2's had. Seems to ground less often too. (What was that about 10/10ths? )
