I posted this ad on PH:-

TVR registration wanted.
Preferably a G plate but not essential.
Can be older too (TVR XXXX), I don't mind.
Obviously nothing newer than a G (1990) as the law doesn't permit the transfer. Budget upto £500.

And... I had a few responses, one of which was from someone who had a G registration but something similar to G539 TKP.

Uuuhhm, just what I had in mind!

And my name's Wally!

Try searching for a plate on the DVLA site or Regtransfers.co.uk.
I doubt if you would pick up anything with TVR on for £500 - couple of years ago I bought G13 with my initials after it, saves me buying a "GB" sticker for abroad !!
Anyone around with the initials RJH ? - I have that one for sale on retention, a dateless number.

Sounds a very reasonable price especially if its a datless number TVR.
Don't forget the transfer costs if they are not included.

I looked around about 6 months ago, nothing reasonable that took my fancy. No TVR plates for cheap money, nothing that sttod out with my initials, so I got thinking .

My nick name is Hoover (and has been for the last 30 years ).

Ended up with B11 OOV, which on my car looks like B HOOV, due to strategically placed screw. Had many comments on it "nice plate" or "how much did that cost?"... smug feeling in side as I only paaid £300 for it.

Get more comments about the car though
