Another wheels and tyres question!
Discussion
After a very hairy moment in the wet yesterday, decided it is time to change the rubber on my S1.
I'm now thinking of changing the wheels at the same time, so has anyone tried fitting 17 inch alloys with 215/45/17 tyres?
If so, any advice as to which tyres of this size are good in wet and dry conditions.

Yep, Kevin's 17s look the nuts!!
and bolts. I'll get my coat now
Well thanks chaps for the wheel compliments.
They are 225/40 rubber on 17" rims which were 4 x 108 et10/15 PCD - IIRC.
There was a nice cheap new set of 19" alloys for sale if you look at this thread it has a link to them:-

I'll just add that even though I have budget directional radials fitted, they are pretty impressive in the dry and not bad at all in the wet. Good for cheap Nakang tyres.
