Temperature sensor for V8S

Grrrrrr, the temperature sensor on my V8S gave up the ghost on the S-Club "cruze". Does any one know what part number it is and will the otter switch from the S3 (Metro part), fit. I need to get the car going for next weekend because I am getting married, so any help would be great.

Mrs Z and myself had a great day out, thanks to all that helped out with the car and to TVR Silverstone for the bits I needed to botch it up.

Which sensor are you after? The otter switch (the switch which turns the fans on), temp sender for the ECU or temp sender for the gauge?

Well the fan is not turning on so I need the otter swith. The fan does work as I bypassed it for the journey home. But, the temp guage is also showing a constant 120deg, so i need on of them too.

What I find really strange is the fact that both appear to have gone at the same time. I just assumed the otter switch was also the sender for the guage.

Now I seem to need both and only 5 days to get them in

Seems to suggest Metro part but do check its for the V8, as its not always clear. the bible doesn't help either too much.
