Headlight fairings/styling
Discussion
My S is a bit less traditional than it started out in life and is a bit more retro now and I don't think the headlight chrome rings are particularly in keeping with the car any longer. Do you think they would look nice if I etch primed them and sprayed them the same colour as the car. Or, if I can get hold of any fairings like the Griff and Tuscans then perhaps a set of those will look more the part?
Anyone know whether the sets of fairings rumoured to fit an S are available anywhere, I think LeeBee had some but sold them. Any ideas anyone?

IIRC Chris Manley had the Chim style fairings, but was selling them to Podie??? I think they will look good personally! I am not convinced they will fit a S3C bonnet as they will not fit the V8S so he might sell them to you.

The first S I looked at when buying had some fairings fitted, but they didn't look right at all IMO, as they were just bolted in place, and you could see the leading edge along the front and sides where they sat in the headlight recess (if you see what I mean).
If they were professionally faired in a la Chim, I think they'd look good, but I can't see how you could do this and still leave them removable in order to get at the headlights for adjustment and bulb replacement.
