Any tips on how the **** I can undo the forward 2 bolts on the seat runners. Rear ones were OK as I could move the seat forward and get a spanner on to stop the bolt from turning - the front ones just aren't exposed even with the seat all the way back, so can't get a spanner over the head. i did try forcing the bolt head down into the narrow channel in the runner but still the bolt turned! Any sensible ideas suggestions welcomed!

Hi Simon,
Pushing the bolt head into the narrow channel worked for me but the key to this is holding the bolt down with force! I found that pushing the bolt down into the narrow channel then wedging a large pair of scissors over the top into the wider channel stopped the bolt from popping up and turning and I was able to take the bolts out no problem!
When you do get them off I suggest you find some thin nuts and screw them to the underside of the runner this eliminates this problem in the future! I say thin as you dont want to raise the seat too much, the thin square ones worked best for me!
Hope this helps.
Mike
I found taking the seat off the runners first was easier.
To get the seat off the front bolts are hidden under the seat squab so you need to lift the front away from the frame a bit and get at the bolt using a socket extension bar. The rear bolts are exposed near the seat back rake hinges.
