Monsoon - hood test!

I'm not often awake at his hour but the rain woke me up. I was in the Caribbean last December and witnessed the tail end of a hurricane and then tropical storm odette and it was not as heavy as the rain that passed through here at 1:30am

So, if I'd left the S out last night it would probably have floated away, or sunk!

Looking out of the window at the time and noticed a taxi drop my neighbours home and they were dry as they stepped out of the car 30 feet from their door but I could see that they were soaked through by the time they got to the top of their drive, Karens' top became rather "see through"

Back to Tivs ....when I was last out in the S and it hammered down with rain I got very wet feet from above and I think it was water coming through the windscreen wiper spindles, so I poured some "seak & seal" around them earlier (last night) and will see whether it cures the leak.

Saw some fantastic lighting earlier on, we are having some very odd weather for mid summer!

Oh well, it's stopped raining now and the wind has died down ....back to bed ....zzzzzzzz

We went round and had a chinese with them and a few drinks of course (be rude not to wouldn't it) and I mentioned "the wet blouse incident" and Karen had a fit of giggles and a slight flush of redness!

Still, it was all forgotten when her mate Wendy had her 18 month old son on her lap and he decided to pull her top down and flop mummies boobs out for all to see ...that'll teach her to wear a bra in future eh!

It was the first time we had met Wendy too, she didn't seem too embarrassed, actually she was a very funny lady, had us in fits of laughter, larger than life you could say
