OK guys, thanks for all your comments regards my last post, it's obvious that the S4C that's for sale is well known to many of you. I'm not sure about the livery on the back but I'm sure I can live with that for a better car. Any info on the car would be appreciated.

I recall it being on a TVRCC trackday a few years ago. Seemed very fast, no way my S3 could keep up. Not sure if that was car or driver...
It would help my ego if someone said the engine was tuned up a bit.

It used to be owned by PetrolTed Pistonheads site owner,so you can bet your bottom dollar it was in good mechanical order when he sold it approx 6 months ago to Batty S4C

Andy, haven't received your mail yet - or perhaps it's got caught in my spam filter.

I sold the car in November last year to MattyBatty

I'd had it for 5 1/2 years. Bought it in May '98 with about 36,000 miles on the clock. I sold it with 105,000 on the clock.

It was my only car during that time, but never used for commuting. It was mainly driving round the UK and abroad and on track. I used it on track quite often and it was standard ().

Last year I had the suspension uprated as it had all gone a bit soggy.

I was never one for lavishing lots of polish on a car so it's by no means concours condition but if anything needed doing mechanically it was done. The service history is a mixture of specialists and main dealers, mainly CastleSport and TMS in recent years.

The decals can be removed with the help of a hair dryer and some elbow grease. The decals on the front of the car came off without any problems despite being on there for several years.

The chassis was in reasonable condition for its age from what I remember. Plenty of surface rust but I don't think there was anything requiring imminent repair.

The engine will have covered over 100,000 miles obviously and was driven hard for most of its life although with mechanical sympathy (honest ).

For an S4 it's priced correctly I reckon - cheaper than concours examples of older cars but offering the newest type of S available at an honest price.

God knows what happened there!!!
just to say cheers Ted, hoped it was about right for the car..
also that i have spend quiet a few hours under the car scraping off the surface the rust from the chassis rails and they have now been hammerited..
in the same red
got very dirty down below (steady Podie)
she is really solid and although the engine is starting to get tappety runs as smooth as a pussycat.
silly little things need to be done which are mainly cosmetic.
she has covered approx 107850 miles (2,500 in my care)
@ 5.250 she is cheaper, but isn't concours and will need some TLC. (like the owner hehe)
don't have many pics yet but will sort them out.
she has had a full oil change/sparks/filters done by myself.
any other q's just mail me

Cheers dudes.
