160K miles that must be some kind of record for Tiv of just over 10 years old.
re the timing, what ever cam you buy it will come with the timing info, if not ask the supplier. I know all Kent cams come with a leaflet in the box 112deg for the 218 as an example. V8D will tell you what to dial in for one of there special grinds, 108deg for the Hybrid 218 for instance.

yes, the kms is 269 000 , done on motorway in germany.
I am rebuilding the original engine (227 bhp !), i think that V8S sold in germany were a little less powerfull(the cat. perhaps)
As i have found a worn out "tvr51" camshaft , i will fit a little wilder one( kent 218 or viper hurricane).
With such mileage nobody can tell that TVR are weak cars!
The car is now in france where i live(the other beast is a 1969 marcos v6 with wood chassis) and my previous
TVR was a LHD 1985 390se which i have just sold in france.
