They've stopped working 
- that's to say that nothing comes out of the jet (nothing much did anyway, but now there's absolutely nothing.)
The pump works and there's a strongish smell of additive under the dash, so seems that it's split or come off the jet.
So the question is "Is there an easy way to get to the underside of the jet?"

or do I have to dismantle the dash etc etc?You can dismantle the dash and find the break in the pipe. On the other hand it is easier to simply fit a spray bar system with a pipe straight to the pump, bypassing all that pipework inside the car. The spray bar system has the advantage of working a heck of a lot better than the original fixed jets!
An even easier way I found was to drill a large...ish hole on the bukhead beneath the position of the jet. Then remove the jet poke the clear tube through the new hole in the bulkhead and upwards out of the washer jet hole then attach a new jet to the pipe and fix back in position and then fit a grommet around the pipe where it passes through the new hole, or you can use silicone like I did.
Also, Halfords washer jets fit perfectly and has a superb spray pattern, like a fan of water instead of a jet, much much better than the standard one and the pressure is better because the jet is more restricted. The old one used to dribble out just about the same height as the wiper blades, not much use really....

As I couldn't get to the nut which holds the jet head to the bulkhead, I just drilled down into it (soft plastic) until it fell apart. I then fed the new tube in through the top until I could reach it under the dash (behind the ECU).
You can use the Citroen type (as fitted to Griffiths, Chimaeras, etc) or the Peugeot type, or - even better IMHO - the Leven Windscreen Washer Kit:

Just take out the glove box and this enables you to get your hand behind the dash and locate the washer pipe. I did mine it was easy (must have been if I did it) I use the spray bar system and just added a T bar where it comes out of the bulkhead and tubes going from there!

As ever, thanks for the ideas.
Torn between the Blue Peter, sticky backed plastic approach (I've found a bit of 4mm brass pipe which looks as though it would fit the appropriate sized plastic tubing to form a wiper blade mounted rail) and adopting the Leven kit. Just asked to e mail photos / fitting instructions as offered on Roy S2's previous thread.
As a matter of interest Mike, how does the glove box come out- asking this while sitting at work without the chance to go and look?

- asking this while sitting at work without the chance to go and look?Rog, open the glovebox and you will see a bolt on either side at the back of the box. Remove these bolts and the glovebox will just come out. This might also be the point of access to see what has happened to the pipe as if the motor is running and you can smell the fluid its probably just come out behind the dash! I bought new wiper arms from TVR Power they were £20 for the pair IIRC and they came with the bar system already on! then all you need is a little tubing break out the nozzle from the bulkhead and insert a T piece and its done and you get new wiper arms too!
