Bought a new battery (an 072)630 amps and managed to squeeze it into the battery platform. Had to trim the bottom plastic wedged edges (the bits used to tighten the bracket on in some cars) but it fitted in the end.

Turned the ignition and blam instant engine running .

I am now thinking of buying a battery conditioner to make sure the new battery stays topped up from one weekend to the next. Does anyone have any experience of them and do they actually work?

Hi Paul

Try www.airflow.uk.com/battery-conditioner only £39.99 and yes they do work, have had mine for nine months and never have a problem with the battery.
