Does anyone know whether these can be replaced and where to buy one? I think it's a pipercross. Also any idea how much they cost, just roughly?

Thanks.

Got one recently from David Gerald - about £40 IIRC.

You will need to make a new 'hole' in the filter for the breather pipe assembly (if you have this fitted).

got mine from demon tweeks about £40.00 ,
in order not to cut the filter you can buy a breather unit and fit this to the existing rocker cover filler cap replace the whole lot .

Thanks spivvy.

Can I bother you for the part numbers if you still have a copy of your invoice?

Should be able to clean these by soaking in petrol or similar. There is then an oil available (or if you are cheap use clean engine oil) used to impregnate it. Unfortunately it does not give birth after the impregnation

Anyone have the part numbers for all the alternatives?

i.e. K&N, Pipercross etc?

I'd also like to do this mod on my V6 but a bit unsure about that part numbers listed on the alternative parts list...

i will dig out the paperwork for the filter for you.
for the breather there are 2 types

one you can get from demon tweeks and is a small pipercross breather unit which will fit on the existing filler cap ( someone at S club meeting had one like this) i replaced mine with a complete unit that fits over rocker cover and is held by a jubilee clip (bit of a pain when putting oil in as you have to unscrew it )haven't got part number for this just measured diameter and ordered from local motor factors but similar to below

www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/catalogue/product_detail.asp?CLS=MCYCLE&TLGRP=MC001&CODE=K_N62-&PGRP=MCP001&GRP=MCP001&PCODE=K/N62-1330

Collected a Pipercross 957647 today from Halfwits, which was on order since 9th Oct. £36.43. Then, of course, you have to make a hole in it for the additional breather pipe!
