Estoril 15" Wheels

Evening all.

The Guy currently doing the service/upgrades and MOT on my Griff. Mentioned that some of the S owners like the 15" Estoril's. Either as a change from the 8 spokes or a set of winter wheels.

Is this a thing? I've found it hard to find more than a couple of images of S's with them on.

Anyway I've got a set of 4 if anyone needs a set.

There's also another set of the same (Not mine) on eBay. Those are darker than the standard silver I have, and look really good. Came off an S apparently.

They came off my V8S so they will definately fit an 'S'.



On a dark coloured 'S' they will look fantastic! It's a shaddow chrome finish so in sunlight they look more dark silver.

I also have my old 'J400 V8S' number plate to sell on if anyone is interested.

Part of the reason is owners of Chimaera and Griffs wanting 16" for the front of their cars. Partially for better tyre choice (speed ratings etc), but also because of brake upgrades not fitting under a 15" wheel. I've seen several S cars with 15" Imolas, which look OK IMHO, less so Estorils.

They go for a lot of money second hand, Estorils.

Exactly the reason I have them Ian.

I managed to find a full set of 15/16" Estorils at a good price. So I told the seller anything I get for my pair of front 15" and his pair I would pass back to him. I believe 15s are ok for a none V8 S as you can still get plenty of tyres in a V rating. Just very limited options for W speed rating.

In all honesty I prefer the standard wheel on an S. especially when they are black behind the polished spokes.

But thought these may be of use as a cheap spare/winter sets.

They are the ones Joe. I saw yours on eBay, they look great in shadow chrome. I'm not holding much hope to be honest. But you never know, cheap set of winter or roller wheels while someone is having the original wheels refurbed?

Imolas are cheap (and nasty ) so ideal for winter wheels.
