I tilted the passenger side door mirror downwards to see a curb while parking. And then it wouldn't tilt back up. :-( I assumed that the motor in the door mirror must have jammed or failed. But I have since noticed that the driver side mirror is the exact same. They tilt down, in and out, but won't tilt back up. So now I have both mirrors tilted downwards. Bugger!

Are there any common faults for this? A failure of the little joystick? How is that switch panel attached if I need to remove the joystick?

Thanks

Does anyone know what the mirror relay is? Having the same issue with the wing mirrors on my S3. Used to work then down to 1 plane now no movement. Replacing the motors nut might as well do the solenoid too. Cheers

It's a normal, widely used, 5 pin relay
