Hi all, ok after being asked a few times to make some more alloy dash switches like mine I have finally got off my bum and put a couple of sets into production (along with surrounds for the round air vents, instrument bezels to follow). At the moment I cannot give any definite prices but it will not be expensive. So if any of you are interested please let me know so I can get the parts machined (these will be for S1/2 and S3 with rotary knobs)

Cheers

I should be getting the first batch of parts in this week.Sorry but I forgot to explain, the switches will need to be removed and sent to me as I fit the new parts to the exsisting ones (along with refurbishing the internals) as the alloy parts are an integral part of the switch, I can now confirm the price but to avoid the wrath of Ted you had better mail me direct .I have some of the later rectangle switches here and will be looking into a solution for those too in the near future, further developments do include a locking mech for the petrol cap, alloy instrument bezels, air vent bezels (round type should arrive this week) and a new alloy heater control, or surround and ....alloy column stalks but this will take a while!.Any questions drop me a mail

Hi Leebee,

I'd be interested when you get some more info on the rectangular type switches, instrument bezels and column stalks.

Also, Podie suggested you may be able to give me a quote to supply and fit a pair of stainless manifolds for the V8!

Cheers
Mark

Well spotted Gadgit, but it is the front of my DSP (the main unit is a hideaway box) which is only 20mm thick.Good news on the switch front, the first batch of round switches are now with me and the prototype for the square switches should be with me before Christmas (along with round air vent surrounds and the heater control unit, solid alloy instead of plastic).More to follow

Cheers

LeeBee,

Had a wee look at your picture, and the switches look awsome. I would love a set of the switches if your making them - what do I need to do?

Also - how did you get the dash trimmed in leather, something I am looking to do soon. Are the seats re trims or are they Chimera ones?

Cheers

Here is a better picture of the switches, these ones (mine) have the original logo stickers on them but they are no longer available so it's just alloy I am afraid
