Saw a nice looking blueish 'S' on the road between Tadley and Basingstoke this morning. Anyone here? I was in the red wedge.

is it your red wedge sometimes parked by the landrover dealer in Basingstoke?

I've seen the blue S a couple of times as well, no reply to messages on here tho!

Nope, not me. I have had my wedge nearly 8 months and have never seen another on the road excluding club meets. I guess there being less than 900 built shows. I have seen that blue S twice now, obviously not a PH'r.

Sorry, not been onto PH for a few days. I am the owner of the blue S you saw on the Tadley road. I only bought the car last month and I'm looking forward to sunnier days. I've now joined the TVRCC - just missed a meeting on Sunday apparently (were you on the way to it?) - so maybe see you and other PHrs at the next one?

Ps - a big thankyou for all the forums both old and new they have helped dispell some new owner alarms (misty gauges, temperature settings, erratic fuel gauge etc!)

They all do that! I was on a test drive after fitting some new bushes and brackets onto the anti roll bar. I will try and make as many meets as possible - see you all there...

Next time I take the beastie to work in Southampton I will take the low road via Andover. I must see one on the open road soon!

Hi Stuart,

I think I may have seen you this morning on the Tadley road heading towards Burghfield Common.

I was driving my wife's silver Rover (family outing to the dentist in Tadley) and saw a red wedge go past just after I'd turned out of the Mortimer road near the roundabout, at about 9:45am.

Remembered this topic and thought I'd see if it was you.

Cheers,

Richard

Hi Richard.

Yes, it was me again. Making the most of it! Are you going to the Hants meet at Wickham (1000) or Meon Hut Little Chef (1030) tomorrow? I am considering it but knackered!

I'll be taking my daughter to Tumbletots tomorrow morning , so I won't be available for either of those meets. Weekends also tend to be difficult with little ones, so I'm normally restricted to evenings.

Do Hants meet at Hartley Wintney sometimes? That's a bit closer to me now as I'm based in Finchampstead - used to live in Burghfield Common before, but without a TVR.

Enjoy the sun.

Richard

Managed to get a run down to Farnham to pick up a mate and then on to the Barley Mow at Tilford on Friday night, roof down all the way there and back.

Great to blow the cobwebs away!
