ok - here is a little teaser for you for 3 points.

I have lost interior lights and the drivers side headlight and tail light. I have still got drivers side indicator and brake light.

any pointers? Admittedly I have not yet had a good look myself, largely because it was dark before i got home this evening. Of course, I shall start at the fuse "box" (said loosely) and work around. But any initial ideas? As the fuses are for each individual side then I am hopeful it will simply need a new fuse. But any ideas gratefully received and why it would happen in the first instance??

According to the Bible the interior lights and Hazards come from the same fuse

According to bible if yours is "S2"
Interior light
Hazards
Horn
Clock

Come from a 15 amp fuse

So if the clock etc work try the interior light switch As it could be water in the door switch that brings on the interior light

Sorry not much help but the drawing ain't too good

osf and nsr are paired with no plate light, clock illumination and instrument illulmination

nsf and osr are paired

So i'm confused as they are on seperate fuses according to the book

Could be a bad /damp connection upstream of the fuses as these three fuses all join together there

I wanted to join in with your Sherlock game, but I haven't got anything useful to add, despite rubbing my chin and looking thoughtful for a couple of minutes!

Sorry! (if I do think of anything I'll let you know )

Really strange symptoms that shnozz, as already been said the lights and fuses lay out don't tie in with your problem .
Silly time, I take it your car electrics haven't belched and blown all these bulbs at the same time thus the strange symptoms , it easy to forget the basics when confronted with a seemingly difficult problem, just a thought.
If it aint that, I anit got a clue guv .

no worries, all sorted. Nothing a night in the rain and 6 bottles of Becks cant sort

give me a shout if you need me to lend a hand with the new motor though Rod, more than happy to oblige. Oh, and if you require anyone to make sure it drives ok afterwards, I am prepared to put myself out short test drive to le mans??
