fse power valve
Discussion
Fitted one a couple of months ago and it has made some difference. It is difficult to say if this was because my old regulator was worn or not though. I have mine about 14 turn higher than the preset and it has more oomph past 3.5k than before and seems to be more responsive and driveable. Any more than 14 turn and the exhaust note gets deeper and it pops and bangs when I lift off to a small degree, but it doesn't appear to give any better response. Fuel consumption doesn't appear to have changed much at all, but then I can't calculate it due to a sticking odometer.
Got mine from www.motorsportworld.co.uk for about £76 inc, FSE wanted £81 inc for the same part. Motorsportworld do list the S for some parts (EBC brakes and discs are reasonable too) and the one you want is the horizontal bolt version.

Er.. yes
Sorry You'll see why I had horizontal stuck in my mind when you get it, as the mounting bolts actually go in horizontally. Also when you come to fit it you may find that the return pipe which fitted on the top of the old one needs to go on the bottom of the new one, this may be difficult depending on your existing pipe fitting. I found that the 2 spacer bushes that were supplied were unnecessary too.
Part no. is PBV39430
