Well for the first time since I bought her, I've been out in the S with the roof down, for the whole afternoon on.

Roof off, warm engine, shades on, music off... just me, some lanes and the engine / exhaust combo...!

FAN-BLOODY-TASTIC.

Just a shame I've got half of London Zoo's insect house stuck over the front of the car..

Edited to say, you are also in South East, im in chalk near gravesend. Car originally came from Chequered Flag, in london (cheswick i think).

I've had a few roof-off goes in mine since I got it 2 weeks ago - and you're right, fan-bloody-tastic is the only way to describe it.

Am I the only one who also likes driving roof off at night? It's nearly as good as day time... You get some funny (or maybe, hopefully, jealous?) looks but what the hell...

Oh it is just me then...

Roof off at night is one of my favourites too, especially when you leave the street lights and you are surrounded by the dark, superb feeling.

Don't get me wrong... often have the roof off (i.e. when it's dry!)... but nice to be able to do it with the sun out, T-shirt on... like you're SUPPOSED too!!

Do enjoy a blast at night with the roof off...with the heater on!

Mark, think mine was was bought from Redhill in Surrey originally...

No it's deffo not just you, I haven't had my roof up for weeks until yesterday, bloody race meeting and it was piddling down.

As for roof off at night, me too, the first time I did it was coming back from my mates house late one evening, around midnight, I had arrived there in glorious sunshine and didn't feel like putting the roof on again, so home I drove, WOW Apart from having the glorious heat from the sun, I think I actually prefer driving at night with the roof off, well as long as it's not too cold

Picked the car up on the 16th Dec last and I reckon the lid's hardly been on since then..

Yesterday however was one of the first days the car really came into its own; most pleasant in shirt sleeves without the need for a jacket or heater..

Went out to do the shopping, came back after 80 miles without having stopped.. Need a pint of milk now, BRB..
