S2 Dial Bezels/Surrounds

What can I do to tidy up my black instrument dial bezels (surrounds).
Leven say they dont stock them, and Speedy Dials tell me that I need to book the car in or send my complete set to them for factory refurbishment. There must be an alternative! Can I buy anything to snap over the top (black or alu)?

i sent my speedo to Speedy Cables & had the bezel replaced, it doesnt take long but do it when you dont want to use the car.....winter project

Nick Pelosi has some ally inserts on his 420SE which look damn good, and no removing of the dash either.

However, not been able to find out where he got them done as yet.

My dials are in the post going to Speedy Cables for a repair (speedo needle fell off) and bezel upgrade to ally.

They're going to phone me with price etc once they've received the dials and had a look at them (they should get them tomorrow am), so I'll post estimated price.

Managed to get the dials out without removing the dash but it's one of those jobs that you don't want to do if you're in a bit of a mood or on a hot day. Clip ons would've been a lot easier.

Let us know how long they take too.. Mine is about to go for dash removal and recovering type work, (if the insurer's cough up).. While its in and off the road...
