Well after nearly 18 months off the road whilst I stripped all the suspension down, had it all shot blasted, scraped all the chassis, rebuilt all the brakes, changed nearly all the pipes etc etc etc it went for the MOT last weekend. One hour it took as he said "he was going to go over it with a fine tooth comb as we don't get many of these here". What could it fail on I kept thinking? When he came out finding me in a pool of sweat he said "do you want me to adjust the offside headlight"!!!!! Do what you want just give me the ticket I said.
Well alls well and now the beast is up for sale. Anyone want one of the first S1's on a D plate, it will be in the classifieds tomorrow once Ive got the photos.
By the way I suggest people be careful with number announcing number plates as nobody has seen this car for the last 18 months and I made the mistake of mentioning mine on a previous post. Well somebody in the midlands has cloned my number on another TVR and now I'm having to prove the car was off the road and its not my non payement of a parking ticket!!

You May well have read my postings on here. It appears that we are both bonkers, as I have spent two years doing mine, and it would seem in the same ares. What a pain in the arse job getting all the rear off. I must admit I am feeling the same as you now, in that I may well sell it rather than see it all go backwards when on the road.
Just out of interest, did you drive it much before you started the work.
Mine is in for a respray and should be done in the next few months, can,t make my mind up what to do?
Gadgit.
