S indicators - their original use...?

Right, S owners know that their front indicators come from some knackered old Leyland Daf van... but has anyone got a pic of these vans..?!?

I happened to be in the Royal Mail / Consignia yard collecting a parcel yesterday and had a snoop around, but it seems they've updated the fleet...

So has anyone got a pic...?

No pics and never actually seen them on an LDV. Same as you i found myself in an area with a large fleet of LDV's and took a look round to see which model had "S" covers but couldn't see them. Started watching these things on the road after that including old Sherpa vans (pre-LDV) but still have not seen the van that uses these lenses.

It wasn't that model Sherpa, rather its replacement with the indicators set into the bodywork between the headlights and the bumper.

Even more weird, they guy whose web site I nicked the picture of the blue Sherpa wants to stick a V8 engine in it! Still he wants to fit LED lamps so we're ok, he won't corner the market in indicator units! Rich...

Interesting to note that he's got a When? section but no Why? section. Surely some sort of oversight?

seems like he's negotiating a flower deal.......no doubt to put in his 'beetle' style flower holder.....maybe he's thinking of using a traffic cone
