Leven are correct in saying that if someone wants to get the cover off your car, then they will have to either cut it or tear it as I found out this morning! My house mat went to help me remove the cover, but unknownst to him, I had put the rear flap in fully! Yes, he tore half the flap off! I've only had it 3 days!!

On the upside I can heartily say that the leven secuerity is good, on the down side I need to sew the cover back up now. Luckily he used to stitch sails, so he has stitched a temproary fic and said he will stitch it back on when I get back from London this weekend.

Blimey, people are so crap. Never tuck mine in but then who'd have use for a cover other than another owner. Numskulls.

i too am having my first 'fully in the boot' day today. Was going to treat the hood with thompsons this weekend, but it is going to lash down.

Yep, he almost did it to the bonnet one the other day. But he is my supervisor at work and also offered to fix it.

Thompsons is good, mak sure you do it in well ventilated area, as it's a bit smelly.

does your bonnet flap go under your wipers?

No, I put it over the wipers and under the bonnet. Never tried to put it under the wipers.

Is that the official way? Just seems a bit 'flappy' left loose. Sits nice and snug under the wipers....

Yeh but the flap goes under the bonnet, and the cover goes over it, and tighten up under the mirrors - tight as anything - or am I missing your point?
