OK, REAL challenge for the S series boys...

Rubber rings for the mirrors!

Originally citroen mirrors, but citroen never had the rings (according to my local dealer)... some sod swiped mine... and I've not been able to find any...

Mr H... you appear to be spending a LOT of time back in the S forums... not thinking of regressing are we?

It's never too cold to wash the car!! One winter when I was in Carlisle with the mini, I washed the car, went back in to fill the bucket again and the water was freezing on the roof by the time I got out again, had to move it into the garage to dry it off and wax it.

I passed comment on the feedback thread from the article; second comment, immediately after yours...

Great write up - all good things come to those who wait!

Of course, I need to find a spare £564.00 now! Think I'll start down the back of the sofa...
From the write up and your subsequent comments, it sounds like money well spent , especially when you look at the sums that people spend on servicing their V8s!

Unfortunately, it's just added another item to the list that I maintain in my head of things I'd like to do to old blue, but am prevented from carrying out due to budgetary restraints and the need to use the car everyday. Oh well, roll on Saturday night!

Bridgdav's got the rubber rings on his mirrors; maybe if you're quick you can swipe them before he realises!
