Hello mate... PH classifieds are a good source... and it's worth joining the TVR Car Club as well.
Trawl the archives here (S forum) to learn about the cars, and get your paws on a copy of "The S series" by Steve Heath (known as the bible) from the TVRCC (www.tvrcc.com)
Ask questions on here... or pay someone like Rob Ingleby to find one for you, or maybe even James Agger.

Hi Christian
Another source (where I found my S3)is TVR Web-mart worth a look, there's even one in Herts! (now I've said that, it will have gone of course
)
Be prepared to travel as they are few and far between.
Sorry, have no-one to recommend, but you're welcome to have a look round mine for a comparison/chat, as I'm in Herts too (Essex border).
I'm busy with study at the moment, but after Dec 3rd, will be happy to take you for a spin/help out etc.
As Podie said - join TVRCC - sprint mag is excellent, and has many more ads as well. I can also introduce you to tvrcc meets (Mid-Essex is huge and well worth travel - in convoy as well!)
Good luck and welcome to the fold - choose wisely, and you will be forever smitten

Also try Autotrader on the net, thats how I got mine. Spent 6 months searching pistonheads/autotrader/webmart every day for the right one. Be prepared to move fast, and to travel. I went to Devon and back from North Herts one day (400miles) to see an S3 and it was pants. Finally got one from Reading area.
Good Luck
Good Luck
