Don't take it personally Brigdav! I reckon if DustyC gives it another couple of months his girlfriend will generously suggest he gets a Tuscan instead and it'll be the Griff boys who'll then feel used and abused!

Not taking anything personally.....

I just thought it seemed funny to stumble upon his name on the griff forums asking the same questions he did on here a short time ago.....

I've read that his girly is now hooked, even to the point that one of his Q's about insurance on the Griff was to add her as a driver.....

Also strange that he hasn't responded to this carrot.....Too busy elsewhere..???

Hey, if I'd known he was going to do that, I wouldn't have wasted my petrol taking him for a spin at BTaP...

If she pays the extra then I'll be having a T350C instead please
(Not much chance of that though)
(Actually, NO chance at all!)

To tell you the truth I was trying to get some work done, but its just no use!
2weeks left of this job and then real work and no more PH till the evenings

I was trying to keep the Griff thing quiet from you boys until Im absolutly sure I want to spend that much money.
I originally approached the second car (TVR/P944T) thing on a tighter budget and was looking for something to tinker with for myself.
On the way home from BTaP Ali (my girlfriend) started saying how we should really get a TVR, which made me happy. But by the end of the journey she was suggesting we go for it and get a Griff.
I almost proposed on the spot!
Well, I would of if she was buying, but its my money!

I haven't completly dismissed the S2 idea and am just finding a bit more out about Griffs first like running costs, insurance etc. to ensure I could afford the up keep. My Griff budget is £15K and having had a chat in the Griff forums it appears that a 500 is within reach.
Its not a power thing, just the fact that the boot is slightly bigger. (just so I dont lose any S friends )

It all seems possible and so the next stage is the decider. Im curently looking at buying property to let and am considering buying a Griff for fun instead! (or as well). I have to check that I can do it all first and it depends on the new job a little too as we may move house to get nearer to it.

Anyway, to summarise, Ali said "you only live once".
Well, that and the fact that a Griff is faster than an apartment

But then I wouldnt have had your scented candle thrust into my hands and thats a thought I'll never forget

Dont feel put out Podie, Im very grateful and havent dismissed the S ideas yet.

Its still early days and Im just trying to get advice before I make any rash decisions.
Im not an impulse buyer, much to Ali's frustration.

Infact if thats all you have found then I obviously hid myself well enough

Hi Adam

Firstly - Welcome Back......

1. You didn't fall and bang your head at BTaP did you..??

2. There were too many posts to add...

3. You forgot to mention getting your golf clubs in the back of the griff as another reason...
Thats what most say..

Sorry... sold to another discerning punter...but if Ali dispels that absurd notion about putting "bricks" ahead of "bhp" and allows you free reign....we have another!

Well, if it fails on those two criteria, there's no point having a test drive then!!!!!!!

Dusty the running costs i.e servicing and parts fuel etc are anything upto 70% dearer for any V8 TVR than the "S" V6

Sorry I didn't get to finish my post. It should have read
"It was too slow and didnt sound right...in comparison to the Millenium Falcon, but it looks better anyway!"
