Did anyone ever make a rollbar for the S1/2?

It would need to be a different shape to the S3 (Rollcentre) version or the V8S.

I thought the chassis was identical for the S1 to 3 and only changed with the S4C and V8

I think the rear bulkhead (behind the seats) is further back on the S3. The uprights on an S1/2 version would need to be further forward.

I'll have to check with rollcentre as I'm not happy about taking my little lad out in his carseat without a rollbar!

I haven't spotted this, are you sure about it? If it has moved, I think worst case it would require a different bend in the front legs to follow the bodywork, doesn't strike me as particularly difficult/expensive to do. I suggest you give Tower View a call as these are the people who supply/fit the bars and I suspect they've done most of the S series models now.

Tower View roll bars DO fit S1 and S2. The difference is in the door length and not rear shelf.

The rear bulkhead (behind the seats) is further back on the S3, but the (Rollcenter) rollbar bolts to the chassis where the seat belt spool was, which I believe is in the sae place on all S's up to S4.
