Injection/Cat Q!
Discussion
No Podie, no comments on Pussies and 'injections' please
Just read the 'S' bible by Steve Heath and he mentions about injector cleaners (such as RedX) possibly harming the Cats?
Is this true?
Just though i'd give her a clear out, but if its going to hurt emissions i won't bother!
Any advice?

Anyway, cats? Get them removed... lot more fun!
but as mine post '93 won't that raise an emissions problem?
would love to have her de-catted and sports exhaust!
Indeed!
Technically you are right Podie
they became mandatory in 96, but they were fitted to all new vehicles requiring type approval from the 1st Jan 93. If your car was originally factory specified with one and you remove it, then legally the MOT station should fail you, but as we all know this has become something of a grey area for pre 96 cars
