O rings for mirrors?

I checked www.tvrcc-south-wales.co.uk/sparts.asp for the whereabouts of some O rings for the V8S mirrors.

It basically says Part No TU 0436, available from Team Central TVR.

With a wee bit of googling I found that Team Central TVR have been 'replaced' by Team Proactive, to whom I sent an unreciprocated email.

I then tried phoning them but the number seems to be out of service?

Has anyone got any other numbers for them?
or know of any other source for these things?

Are there any 'industrial' O rings that fit the size, spec, purpose etc?

TU 0436
Team Central TVR
Rubber O rings 5 1/2 inch diameter by 1/8 th inch
(4 per mirror).

Been looking into this myself... but from the other side of the fence. Mirrors were Citroen ones, but they do not sell the rings separately.. best option is to try a Citroen breakers...

From the TVRCC South Wales website the details are:

Rubber O rings 5 1/2 inch diameter by 1/8th inch

I think yours is the only S I've seen with the rings on the mirrors Dave. Interesting to see how the generic ones compare to your standard fits (assuming they were standard fits).

I might also be on the list of interested parties. Can't make it to VW, but might catch you at a Berks meet?
