Roof Slots

I'm not sure of the technical name for them, but does anybody know if you can replace / repair the slot pieces in the roof panels which go into the rear hoop and top of the windscreen. After spending all day fitting new seal,spotted the slots were looking very worn and getting shorter.

Hi there,

Apparently it can be done and a procedure is described on page 250 of Steve Heath's book on the S series. Never done it myself though so I can't coment on its success. I did repair one of the ones on my car when the end broke off. Used JB weld epoxy an glued it back together. Good as new.

Yes see what you mean, not to bad a job, Does any know where apart from TVR direct, where to get the Pegs for the roof panels

Tried that one first, nothing on the pegs issue, catches yes.
