I met a few owners on Sunday, but what with the lure of the Pub, the drizzle and, oh yeah and a couple of non 'TVR S' car to have a look at....We Didn't all meet up..

I think we all had a look around each others cars but obviously couldn't put cars to names to faces...

By the look of it Pies has captured most if not all S's on his site from VW...

www.piesite.com/frontpage.html

This was mine, top end if the car park, I did put a sign in the window...(eventually)

Which one was yours...?
There was some really nice looking cars...
Well polished everybody....

'Twas I.

It was well polished, but then it rained most of the way down. Can see my new crystal headlights quite nicely though, thanks Pies.

Pies suffers from obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) when it comes to photographing S's... he's like a magpie with a fetish for GRP..

I'll admit to which is mine when I've had the chance to do a few cosmetic jobs that have been gradually building up on me.

Not so easy to keep on top of it all when its the only car..

Roy...

The chap who had the Red S1/2 next to me doesn't really post on here, but we were discussing your wing mirror, and the fact although it looked a bit strange, it was actually functional.

He has gone for looks rather than being able to see behind him by the look of it...But I don't think he knew about contorting the mirror rather than his neck....

His S was almost opposite yours..IIRC

Dave,

As I explained to page3 (Adam) at VW, it's specially adjusted for reversing into my garage, so I can park 2" from the wall!

Otherwise, it only gets used for driving on the right (Le Mans, etc).

Understatement of the year

I thought yours had been done over by some thieving scrotes, but then I saw the other thread and realised that you had let Shnozz near it.

Did you also change the chrome rings around the headlights as they seem to sit more flush with the tops of the wings than the standard ones? Much better IMO.

None taken. But as I said it, was nice and clean on Saturday, then it rained all night and on and off for the 120 mile trip down. I must admit it was a bit embarassing to roll up in a dirty car, though.

I have an ongoing thing with my headlight surrounds; they have a habit of falling off. I now have two that do not match, and as any minute now I'll be doign something to the lights to improve visibility at night, (fitting an extra candle each side), fixing the rims will wait until the lights have been done.

However, the list of other things to do is steadily growing still..
