My gear gaiter seems to have decided to come out from the transmission tunnel, and keep on coming out. Is there some sort of black magic to getting it to stay under there or somthing?

Mine was the same, as a quick solution I screwed it to the central tunnel, you cant see the screw and it dont move now!!! Its being re-trimmed soon so that should fix it properly.

If you're talking about the visible leather one, then I just thought it's tucked under. Mine is like this and doesn't come out.

Its a very small screw, its only to hold it in place!

It works!

I always find if you just shove the gator in under the tunnel it soon comes out again. For a permanent fix, lift the transmission tunnel cover, stretch the edges of the gator out as far as it will go and still let you get all the gears, tape the gator to the tunnel in this position with gaffa tape, refit the tunnel.

two screws at the rear one each side and you can tilt it plenty enough

Mine was doing this, used a teaspoon handle to work the edges back underneath, seems to be fine now.

I think this might depend on the orientation of the gaiter... try turning it through 45 degrees and tucking it back in (can't check out my theory ATM!).

That's assuming they're there in the first place!

Right after much swearing last night, whilst I was waiting for the car to warm up in the snow on before leaving work, I managed to get it back under, but I think I will take the tunnel off this weekend.

For the full Podie effect you would have had to say:

Mine's very long. It's tucked inside the tunnel.
