Picked up the car this morning. Drove it about very gingerly for about an hour or two, then opened it up...

WOW!!

What an experience!

Fantastic sound and feels like your piloting a WW2 Spitfire. Most I've had in a car.

Must mention the seller as he was completely genuine (one always has some scepticism about what your'e being told by a seller) everything on the car works fine; Instruments, mechanics etc. No overheating whatsoever! Done about a hundred miles and she hasn't skipped a beat. Only problem is the wash wipe doesn't seem to work. Will sort out tomorrow.

Anyway would recommend Phil Reygate at Rhino Motorsort www.rhinomtorsport.com. Well worht a ring if your looking for a Tiv!! Sorry about the commercial but I'm dead chuffed it appears to be a totally sorted car.

Few pints tonight in celebration and then tomorrow....

Take care guys, I'm offto the pub to bore everybody about TVR's.

Stephen.
Told you you'd love it. Bet you don't sleep much tonight.
Washers were working. Just drop by, have a coffee and I'll fix them for you.

I assume it's the one on the Rhino site now sold. Cooper Green (looks the same as mine - but isn't) looks nice mate.

Now hijack the pics and update your profile, or the 'this thread is useless...' barrage will continue!

Whereabouts in the S/E are you? Join TVRCC and come along for the biggest TVR convoys around, at Mid-Essex (see thread in TVR general & gossip!!)

Hi Guys,

Will load up some pics in a day or two. Any tips on the site for doing this?

The car is the one on www.rhinomotorsport.com site. Cooper Green with cream leather. As luck would have it my prefered colour was dark green closely followed by dark blue and this was the best one I saw which was for sale.

Met up with Walsingham Sunday. Lovely S3 in dark blue.
He's clearly a braver man than me as he had the roof off under very forboding skies. Good to know there's another Tiv nut in town.(Brighton).Hopefully meet up again soon.(Not made the tunnel yet Craig.. must do it soon).

Cursing my luck as I'm holiday on 27th for a week on the slopes so I won't be able to make the meet that day. But I'd be delighted to come and show it off soon (easy Podie!).

Should anyone find themself in Brighton mail me and we can meet up.

Please god... make the sun shine soon!! I'll be good...

p.s. Anyone know how to change your user id? I can't seem to fathom it. Looked in the members area but no luck.
