Water in cill.
Discussion
Started up and drove off this morning after a load of rain last night and heard a load of 'sploshing' sounds coming from somewhere in the car. Checked the footwells and the boot but found them to be dry (luckily mine seems to only let minimal amounts of moisture in).
I had a good listen and found it was a load of water in the drivers side cill. I removed a rubber grommet and it poured out.
Is this a problem? Does water drain to this point from somewhere else in the car? Do I need to clear some other drainage channel? What's the point of having a grommet here?
I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

Thanks BB.
So how did you fix it. Do I just try to improve the seal above that area?

From Memory( of which i have little left
) I achnged the Targa seal and Reproofed the Hood and i think that sorted it. Also worth checkin is that there are no holes in the front side of the rear wheel arch as it is possible water could come of the wheel here and get in.
And another place is along the Chassis under the sill, stones get trapped in here and can rub through the body work letting in water. Clean and waxoyl.
Mine was allright after the first thing I said but the others are possibilities(sp?) I think with the usual leaking spots it wouldnt get into the sill, it would sit in the footwells and behind the seat.Just my thoughts
