I am planning on having the entire interior of the S2 re-carpeted and tidied. Who else has done this and what prices did you get? In addition I am thinking of having the seats re-connolised - has anyone else done this? What did it cost? How bad were your seats and how good was the end result?

I have had seats re-conolised before and have used Trimline, they are a mobile service and I am sure there will be one near you, the one I used was near Guildford but they are all over!

I have recently had the carpets replaced and I used A&R Pound in Baldock Herts, did a good job and it costs between £300-£400 depending on carpet quality.

(CUE PODIE)

Go for the deep shag with contrasting piping...

Seriously...

I would have thought quite a few owners in the 'Classics' section would have had their car re trimmed over the years, it might be worth asking in there...?

I know that Mick Goodall, who lives in Newbury, got all new carpets in his S1 last year as part of the renovation that he did after discovering the car gently rotting away in a pig shed!...

It looks much better now...
