Fuel Pressure Regulator
Discussion
Just got my S2 back from The Offord Motor Co who had it for a service....
They had the car a little longer then anticipated because of a few things that needed sorting....
The most dangerous thing being the fuel pressure regulator that was pissing petrol all over the place, mainly over the distributor and ht leads.... the mechanic said that he was scared moving the thing off the ramps..... (ohhhh my ignorance is bliss).
Any way... to the point.... there was a thread in here about cars cutting out or spluttering when cold, that was rectified by a £12.50 switch or something.... I thaught this would solve my problems.... but No.... it was the pressure regulator.
Car going fab now..... on to cosmetics now.
