Going to the TVRCC East Midlands meeting today, turned into the village, narrow lane with a hairpin left after 200yds. Old fella in a new Volvo estate pulls out of a driveway just ahead so I stopped to let him pass, he pulls up alongside, winds down his window and says "Go on give it a rev" so I duly obliged, his good lady wife was laughing her head off, he then stops alongside my mate's Chim and asked him to do the same.

Am new to the scene also. Bought an S2 two weeks ago, and never had so many people pay my car so much attention.
First time I pulled up outside my in-law's house I literally had half the street come out to give the tiv an admiring glance.
