Got my car back

Picked up the car on Saturday 502 days after
it went off the road for repairs to chassis etc
etc.
Sun shining, roof off brilliant. Still a few things
not quite right but its mine again and i can live with them for now.
In case your wondering, body off back to bare chassis, what was left off it, repaired, blasted and powder coated. New stainless fuel tank, stainless manifold, brake overhaul, suspension overhaul, engine stripped and checked over new camshaft fitted plus numerous other "little" jobs that just took so long to sort out.
Anyone that was at the TVRCC meet at Drem in Dec 2002 this was the pile of rust pretending to be an S2 chassis in the corner

And there was me thinking I might be able to get it sorted in a couple of months

No pics as such yet, its all kinda out of sight.

As for the 502 days was agreed up front that it would be one of those jobs that would be worked on when things were a bit slack work wise, didn't expect it to be quite so long but
no complaints on the time taken really.
