is this possible? Sick of the hard bits in this weather, up and down. Can an ordinary pull up be fitted?

Don't think so. There wouldn't be enough room for it all to fold up.

I was chatting to an RAC Mechanic a few months ago who mentioned his friend converted his Tiv to a up and over - though he couldn't remember the model!

Wasn't like yours he kept saying!

I have been thinking about making up a hood frame to fix to the rear folding section on my S to convert it to a fully folding hood for a while now. Then have it covered and lined. I reckon there is more than enough room to drop it in behind the seats.

I visited Stoneleigh kitcar show last weekend and there was a guy who had a very nice looking re-body kit for a Toyota MR2 (looked a bit like a Porky Boxster) anway ..... it had a fully folding soft roof and the rear part was not that different to an S and the front section had a really nice method of folding, I can't really describe it in a message and I didn't have the camera with me but it was really well designed. It had thin side struts in line with the top of the side windows which pulled in to unlock the frame then the whole thing just folded back. The roof had support ribs across it, only 2 but this was fine and the locking side struts were attached to these so you just pulled these inwards and as you did so the roof started the process of folding back. It looked really good.

I don't know when I will get to start on this little project myself but I'll post details when I do.
