Morning chaps,

Could one of the kindly 'old guard' please email me the means to manually access the boot of a (late) V8S?

I assume I've got a flat battery (suspect a left-on radio ) - remote control de-immobilising is not working.

Not massively urgent as in "can't get to work", but "it IS sunny and I'm working from home"

Thanks
Richard

the one that worked for me was to connect a battery to the terminals on the alternator, then use the little current to pop the boot.

I think you can get away with one of the big square batterys to do that

might not help in short term, but you could get a battery ready for next time

Its not usually a good idea to type things like this in a public domain, usually works better if you E-mail the person asking the question and only then if you know they are trustworthy !!
