Hi All

National S meet as discussed ..................... S Club Heaven 2
.......................[ Return to Heaven!]

I propose Aug 15th at Silverstone at the site of the new dealers.
Its the weekend of LMES races [GT cars I think] a T400R
should be racing.
Discounted tickets would be available for this.
BBQ would be provided by the dealers.
This is a chance to meet up, have a chat and maybe a drive around the Northants countryside.
The dealer has suggested that they could block book a hotel when we have numbers if anyone would like to stay over.
We could also approach one of the local farmers who open a field for the GP to see if camping space can be made available.

The next step as I see it would be to put this on the calender and make it a fixed date.

The dealer has asked for numbers, for catering and for tickets,so,all who wish to attend should register their intent to come on the calender.

I will post it on the TVRcc site and try and get the message to owners not involed in PH.

Price of tickets for race entry depends on numbers.
Hotel price / camping availability -- details will follow.

Dale

Tickets for circuit entry (not required to attend the meet) Have been priced at £10. If you wish to purchase tickets you can do on the gate, or on line at www.silverstonemotorsport.co.uk or via Mark at Silverstonr TvR. 01327855772
Because the tickets are relatively cheap there is no block booking discount available.

Camping
For those who have expressed an interest in camping there are two options
1) Whittlebury Hall 01327858092 Ext 227 (Penny)
They will open up for us ,so you must book
£12.50 per pitch per night
2) Inside the circuit at Silverstone
This sounds like a great option, You must have a weekend ticket (£18) then its £5 per person.
If enough go you could have your own TvR section.
Ring Mark at Silverstone TvR for details .You must book before Aug 2nd. 01327855772

Hotels
Not alot of interest so heres a few numbers to sort yourselves out
Green Man 01280850209
Travel Lodge Towcester 08700850950
Whittlebury Hall 01327857857
The Chantry Coach Ho 01327857458
Forest Ho 01327855549

Please note the LMES race is on Sat. See website as above for details

Brilliant - thanks for all your efforts and count me in. LMES is the four round series of 1000km races for cars complying to Le Mans rules. They're going to Monza, Silverstone, Spa and Nurburgring.

on the way home or on the way back?

on the way there she was tucked in behind gary's silver tuscan and in front of simon's black griff.

on the way back it was S33 TVR, myself in the green chim and claire, erm, going rapidly down the A31 and A32

Dale - well done for organising, i live nearby so give me a mail if you need anyone to pop along for anything & help out.

I popped into Silverstone TVR yesterday, there still stocking up but its a great venue for a dealer and for us to visit. The new duel carriageways around the circuit make access easy.

Cheers
Giles

Hi All
The event is now on the calender [click on members @ the top of the page and go to Aug]
If you are able to register there it will make things easier for me.
Anybody got a good name, "S meet" seems a bit tame?

I am really gutted for those who say they will miss out . Hope theres not too many.
Many thanks for the support so far.
